        Study updates

        Our dedicated team of clinical and research nurses have enrolled over 300 participants with and without ARF in Australia and New Zealand.

        We will continue to enrol participants until December 2021. Partnering with the Accelerator team at Telethon Kids Institute, we are looking to commence analysis mid-2022 using the latest systems biology multi-omics and antibody profiling technology to identify a reliable marker for ARF.

        Completed traineeships

        Tasha completed her Certificate III in Laboratory Skills in 2019, visiting the laboratory at Telethon Kids Institute in Perth. Following completion of her traineeship, Tasha worked in the lab with the Melioidosis team at Menzies before undertaking a program administration role involving youth engagement in the Menzies Biyamarr ma team.

        Kyran was awarded a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills in February 2020. After completing his Certificate, Kyran continued to work in the Menzies laboratory with the Melioidosis Team and the START study, before progressing to a Lab Assistant position at Royal Darwin Hospital pathology laboratory in late 2020.
